While the fencing world turned its eyes to Budapest this spring for one of the season’s most intense competitions, FNCNG was there too—quietly, in the background, watching, learning, and soaking it all in. From March 28 to 30, the legendary “Gerevich-Kovács-Kárpáti” Men’s Sabre World Cup brought together 267 top-level fencers and 30 elite national teams to the BOK Hall for a showdown of speed, precision, and pure intensity.

In the individual event, France’s Sébastien Patrice claimed gold after a nail-biting 15-14 win over Germany’s Matyas Szabo. The road to the final was equally fierce—Patrice took out Korea’s Hansol Ha in the semis, while Szabo overcame Georgia’s powerhouse, Sandro Bazadze, who had earlier knocked out Olympic champ Sanguk Oh. In the team competition, Egypt stunned the home crowd, defeating Hungary 45-37 for gold, while Team USA edged out France to grab the bronze.
And while the world’s best battled on the piste, we were there too—FNCNG in full stealth mode, watching our future community in action. We’re not here just to make streetwear. We’re here to understand the rhythm, the mindset, the fire behind every lunge and parry. The feedback, the atmosphere, the unspoken codes—this is where FNCNG breathes before it roars.
Why Understanding Fencers Matters – Design Starts with Insight
At FNCNG, we believe that great design isn’t just about style—it’s about relevance. To create something that truly resonates, we need to understand the real challenges fencers face: from the intensity of daily training to the pressure of competition, from travel routines to recovery days, and even how they express their identity off the piste.
That’s why we listen, observe, and ask questions. The more we understand the lifestyle, mindset, and pain points of fencers, the better we can design clothing that’s not just cool, but authentic, functional, and empowering. Because when you live by the blade, your gear should speak your language.

Did You Spot Us?
We’ve been moving quietly—behind the scenes, in the crowd, at the edge of the piste. Maybe you saw someone in a prototype hoodie. Maybe a sticker turned up on a water bottle or a laptop near you. Maybe you just felt that something new was coming.
FNCNG is out there, still under the radar… for now. But not for long.
So tell us—did you catch a glimpse?
Because the sharpest ones always notice first.
